NormForms vs Formspree: the same tiers, half the price

We are the competitor here, so treat every sentence accordingly. The numbers below come from both pricing pages and were checked when this was published. The comparison is unusually clean because the tiers line up one to one: both products sell 50, 200, 2,000, and 20,000 submissions a month. Only the prices differ.

Paid month to month, NormForms costs about half of Formspree at every tier. Against Formspree's annual billing we're 70 to 83% of their price, a real gap but not a dramatic one. If you'd happily prepay a year, weigh that honestly.
What each free tier actually includes
Formspree's free tier is better than its reputation. It includes their machine-learning spam filtering and reCAPTCHA; what's paid is the advanced tuning and the rules engine. Where the free tiers genuinely differ:
- Custom redirects and CSV export are free here, paid there. Formspree puts redirects on Personal and export behind a paid plan.
- Spam never touches your quota. Caught spam never counts against your monthly limit, so bots can't eat your 50 submissions. And past your limit we store and hold instead of rejecting: delivery pauses, the messages stay readable in your dashboard.
- Every form is also a hosted page. The same URL that accepts POSTs renders a clean form when visited in a browser, with a QR code. Formspree has nothing equivalent; no pure form backend does.
- Submission retention is 90 days by default and configurable per form. Formspree's free tier keeps 30 days.
Where Formspree wins
Integrations, and it isn't close: 30+ native connectors on their paid tiers, plus file uploads, which we deliberately don't offer. We cover the "send it somewhere else" case with signed, retried webhooks on every plan, and paid plans add an autoresponder, but if your submissions need to land in Google Sheets without you standing up a webhook receiver, buy Formspree.
