Looking for a Formspree alternative?
July 19, 2026
Full disclosure: we're a competitor, so read this with the grain of salt that implies. But we'll play it straight. Formspree is a good product, and pretending otherwise would just be silly. They basically invented the point-your-form-at-a-URL category. Respect.
Where Formspree gets it right
Mature, reliable, and stacked with integrations: webhooks, Slack, Zapier, the works. Need submissions flowing into seventeen other tools? Formspree's paid tiers are built for exactly that, and they do it well.
Where the costs start
The free tier (50 submissions/month, as of this writing) is fine: it's the same number we offer. The friction sits behind the paywall. Spam filtering beyond the basics, multiple projects, and the features you didn't know you wanted until week two start at roughly $10/month and climb from there with each tier. None of it is unreasonable. It's just that most people showing up for a form backend need exactly one thing: messages in, spam out, email delivered.
Where NormForms comes in
- Spam defense is the free tier. Honeypot, origin lock, rate limiting, an invisible check on hosted pages, silent failure: the whole pipeline runs on every plan. A form backend that lets spam through isn't discounted. It's broken.
- Three paid tiers, one axis: $7/month for 200 submissions, $15 for 2,000, $50 for 20,000. Unlimited forms and branding removal on all of them. That's the whole comparison. A pricing page shouldn't need a spreadsheet. The full side-by-side is here.
- Going over doesn't drop anything. Past your free limit, we keep accepting and storing submissions. Email delivery pauses until you upgrade, but the messages don't vanish. They sit in your dashboard, readable, waiting for you. There's one hard ceiling, ten times your monthly allowance, and we email you if you ever reach it.
- Hosted pages included. Every form doubles as a shareable, customizable page with its own QR code. No website required.
Our honest recommendation
Need deep integrations and enterprise features? Formspree, genuinely. Need a contact form that survives the internet and costs about as much as your coffee? That's us. Switching over is one attribute:
